DYSGlair Council
The DYSGlair Council is a subcommittee of the School Council.
They are a Teaching and Learning committee who ensure that the pupil's voice helps to develop teaching and learning across all ages.
Every year the DYSGlair council have their own Development Plan linked to one of our Whole School Priorities.
In the past DYSGlair have introduced the Four Purposes of the New Curriculum for Wales to parents, have promoted the use of the Welsh language throughout the school and have also created a film for parents to understand Ysgol Henry Richard's Feedback and Marking strategies.

Introduction to the New Curriculum's Four Purposes
For 2024 - 2025 DYSGlair's priority is to research and present findings on Teaching for Memory. This will include Learning Walks around the school, meeting with pedagogy experts and creating a film to share information about Retrieval Practice and Revision Techniques with the wider community.
